Unpredictable
真冬のはずなのに不気味なほど暖かい日が続いている。
今年はまだ雪が降っていないどころか、我が家の庭の木瓜も花が咲いてしまった。
ところが数日前はアメリカの中西部では記録的な寒波に襲われ、日本の上空でも異常な低気圧が発達して各地に大雪をもたらしているという。
今年の冬はこのまま雪を見ることなく終わってしまうのだろうか。そしてものすごく暑い夏が来るのだろうか。
気象のパターンが著しく変わってきているのは確かであり、これからもっと予測できなくなっていくような気がする。
It has been strangely warm even in a midwinter these days.
Not only I haven't seen any snow this winter yet, but flowers of Japanise quince in my yard have bloomed today.
On the other hand, the Midwest had suffered unexpected cold wave a few days ago, and an unusual low pressure system brought heavy snow elsewhere in Japan too.
I wonder if this winter will be over without seeing any snow this year, and followed by a very hot summer around here.
It's certain that the weather pattern has changed, and it'll become even more unpredictable.
