Facing up
3ヶ月ほどまったく手をつけていなかった作品に手を入れてみる。
方向性を見失ってそのままにしておいたのだが、あるとき突然つぎにどうしたらいいのかが見えてくることがある。
だから描きかけの作品はいつもこちらを向けて置いておき、アトリエの中では常に目に入るようにしている。
Trying to do something on a painting that has been left untouched for about three months.
It happens to become clear which way to go all of a sudden, even if it has been awhile since I had lost a direction.
So, I always keep ongoing paintings facing toward me, making sure that they can be seen while I stay in the studio.
