Autumn Hike
天気の良い秋の日だったので、またマウントビーコンへハイキングに行ってきた。 暖かかったため登り道ではすっかり汗をかいてしまったが、やはり頂上までたどり着くと気持ちがよい。 紅葉を期待していたのだけれど、暖かい陽気が続いているせいなのか、夏から秋にかけて降雨量が少なかったせいなのか、あまり鮮やかではなくてちょっと期待はずれだった。来週あたりはもっと綺麗な紅葉が見れるかもしれない
Because it was such a fine autumn day, I went to hike the mount Beacon again today. The temperature was little warmer, so it made me sweat on the way up. But once I reached the peak, the panoramic view and the clear air felt so refreshing. The foliage wasn't as spectacular as I was expecting. I'm not sure if it's due to the warm weather of late, or lack of the rain in this fall. Maybe the foliage will turn much nicer later on.
