共感覚というものがある。
音を聞いた時に色を感じたり、視覚や聴覚など本来別の感覚が関連し合うらしい。
また文字を見て色を感じるケースもあるようである。
作品に名前を付ける時に言葉の意味とは関係なく、その音の響きや文字面がとても気になる。
これも共感覚の軽い症例かもしれない。
A phenomenon that two different senses cross over, like you feel particular color when you listen to a certain sound, is called synesthesia.
There are cases of seeing different colors on different letters in the alphabet too.
When I search names for the paintings, I seriously get occupied with the sounds of words or the looks of letters regardless the meaning of them.
This could be one of the symptoms of light synesthesia.
