The Interstate
今日は用事で家族と州都アルバニーの近くまで行ってきた。
ビーコンから北に２時間ほどのドライブなのだが、朝早く起きてまだ朝霧の残る景色が綺麗だった。ウッドストックのあるキャッツキルの山並みを横目に見ながらモントリオールまで続くハイウェイ沿いには鹿がいたり七面鳥だと思える大きな鳥がいたりして目を楽しませてくれる。
朝は肌寒いくらいの気温だったのが、夕方ブルックリンに戻ってきたらもうすっかり夏日になっていた。
I took a trip to near Albany with my family today.
It was a little over two hours drive. When we left early in the morning, the scenery was beautiful with a morning fog. The interstate highway leads to Montreal and runs east of the Catskill mountains was fun to look around, entertained by deers and turkeys showing up on the side of the road.
Even though it was chilly in the morning, it became a hot summer day by the time we got back to Brooklyn in the late afternoon.
