Illusinary colors
最近のパソコンの画面はかなり鮮明な画像を見せてくれるようになった。
高画素数で撮った写真など液晶画面上などで実に綺麗に見える。
ところがルーペで画面を拡大してみると、ただ小さな赤と緑と青の光の粒が並んでいるだけである。 画面では真っ白に見えている部分にもその３色があるだけでどこにも白がない。 赤緑青が作る錯覚による白なのである。
そんなふうに画面を見た後でまた画像を見ると、今まで見えていたものがすごく頼りないもののように感じてしまう。

Especially those photographs taken with high resolution look stunning on LCD.
But when you look at the screen closely with a microscope, all you can see is just illuminated dots of red, green and blue. Even the areas look very white on the screen, there is no such thing as a white dot. It’s just an illusionary mixture of RGB lights.
After looking at a screen that way, I feel uncertainty of images that I believed to see on a computer screen.
